FACTOR TO CONSIDER WHEN BYING A PC OR A LABTOP

A laptop is a personal computer which has a built in keyboard

As a psychology student, some of the factors I will consider when buying a laptop are listed and explain below.

THE SIZES: As a student the first thing I will consider when buying a laptop is the sizes. The size has to be portable and easy to go with. It also has to be lighter so that I can carry it anywhere I go. The screen must be of medium sizes and cleared.

THE PRICE:  As a student, I will also consider the price of the laptop. Expensive laptops can’t be affordable by me so I will choose a laptop that I can afford provided it has the qualities I would be looking for.

THE MEMORY: The memory must be enough for me to download and store my assignments and notes on. This will give me how  space I will  require for data storage. It is depend upon user’s requirement. You can also add an extra Hard disk externally in futures

THE BATTERY:  I will also consider the battery. Some batteries last long whiles others don’t. I will therefore consider buying a laptop with a good battery so I can save money and time. This will also help me to take it everywhere I go.

THE HARDWARE OFTHE LABTOP:  The hardware is also important to consider when buying a laptop. This is the physical part of the laptop which includes the processor and sound card. This will help me in my studies.

THE SOFTWARE OF THE LABTOP: Computer software is the programs that tell the hardware of a computer what to do. E.g.  The BOIS. Will check by reading the label to see if it has all the software I am   looking for. This will help my work easier.

THE WARRANTY:  Again I will also check if the laptop has a warranty .This means I could return the laptop at any time if it goes faulty.

PROCESSOR AND PROCESSING POWER :   I have to choose always the latest processor. As they are modified by showing other old Processors problem. One processor is made with various processing speed, so I have to choose the best speed

6. RAM: RAM is random access memory. This is the primary storage device. Its capacity controls the processing speed. So I will try to buy the Maximum available RAM memory.

8. OPERATING SYSTEM: It means on which system you will feel good to work. Some of the laptops are based on a particular type of operating system. Other operating system may be supported but they show the best result on that operating system.
